Feeding Guide:

We recommend using the guide below as a starting point, but every pet is different. Adjust the feeding amount as necessary to help your pet achieve an ideal body weight. Divide the number of patties per day by the number of feedings per day.
New to raw:
Introduce raw over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts with the current food each day.

Daily Feeding Guidelines (each patty is approx. 8 oz.):

Adult Maintenance:
5-15 lb: ½ – 1 patty
16-25 lb: 1 – 1 ½ patties
26-50 lb: 1 ½ – 2 ½ patties
51-75 lb: 2 ½ – 3 patties
76 lb +: 3 patties +
Weight Loss:
5-15 lb: ¼ – ¾ patty
16-25 lb: ¾ – 1 patty
26-50 lb: 1 – 1 ½ patties
51-75 lb: 1 ½ – 2 patties
76 lb +: 2 patties +
Handling Tips:  Keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost your pet’s daily portion by thawing it in a covered container in the refrigerator overnight or for approximately 4 to 6 hours. Patties should be cold to the touch when served.  Wash hands, working surfaces, utensils, bowls and any other items that come in contact with raw meat or poultry with hot, soapy water.  If your pet does not consume all the food presented within 30 minutes, discard any leftovers.  Keep package sealed to maintain freshness.
Transition Instructions:
Transitioning to Instinct: Always introduce a new food over a period of 5 to 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of Instinct with the current food each day.
