Repta-Sun 2.0 Fluorescent
For carnivorous and nocturnal species of reptiles and amphibians. Full-spectrum lighting closely simulates natural sunlight to provide a natural environment for reptiles so they feel better and see better, while making food colors and skin tones appear as they do in natural sunlight. Though carnivorous and nocturnal species probably obtain a significant amount of their Vitamin D requirements from their diet and may not depend on radiation Ultraviolet B (UVB) as much as other species, they do require exposure to full-spectrum lighting. Repta-Sun 2.0 has a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 91. (Natural sunlight has a CRI of 100.) Repta-Sun 2.0 has an Ultraviolet A (UVA) rating of 12%. Provides essential UVB radiation from within the 290-310 nanometer range, which is considered most important for the health of reptiles and amphibians.
